Tom Harwood sent me an email with names and history and such. Here is the word:
The LT looks like 1st Lt. Strange who was the XO for C/1/61 under Capt. Poppum (spelling) and then Capt. Mutter after Capt. Poppum was wounded along with Lafoon (apc driver) when Poppums APC hit a mine.
The RTO looks like Sgt. Tom Harwood, Spec. 4 at the time of the photo. I was the RTO for Capt. Mutter and then Capt. Hattigan after Capt. Mutter. I was there for only a very short time, a matter of a week or two, under Capt. Starr before I was left behind at QuanTri to start getting ready to come home.
It was a long time ago but I do believe that is Lt. Strange and myself (Spec. 4 Tom Harwood) in the picture.
