Here the 81mm mortar is mounted in its own track. Like a 113 except larger top hatch and special floor mounts that serve as a baseplate. And it can get into action very quickly because it is ready to fire when it is in the track. If things get rough and they really have to, the crew can dismount the mortar and fire it from a conventional baseplate on the ground. This particular mortar is part of the B Company 1/61 pocket artillery.
