October 1970 at A-4. XO of HHC, LT John Kieffer, having spent ten months as a platoon leader in the field with B Co, is now learning the wonders of paper work in a line unit. For the old timers who can't believe that is A-4, in the spring and summer of 1970 both C-2 and A-4 underwent major cleaning and rebuilding programs that continued into the fall.
